PETE'S PATTER - ANNIVERSARY THOUGHTS 1
It’s quite amazing to think that I launched Gabriel Design in July 1998, making 2013 the year of my 15th Anniversary! So far it has been an amazing and exciting ride full of ups and downs, with a lot of wonderful clients and creative projects. I’m sure over the year I will return to this theme at least once or twice, however I’d like to share some highlights with you now.
It has been an honour to work with Air Travel Corporation for well over a dozen years and helping build up and develop their portfolio of seven different tourism websites. Alongside these websites I have also been involved in logo design, corporate branding, brochure design, stationery, press and internet advertising and more. It is ‘joined up’ work like this, which makes for the kind of creative challenge I enjoy.
Another highlight was making the final cut for best charity website in a regional award for the AAIR Charity website which I developed for the influential research charity as part of an ongoing internet strategy.
As a delightful diversion from graphic design and website development I was happy to provide colour illustrations for an award winning author to use in a children’s book project.
More recently I have been very proud to work alongside A Motley Crew Limited to provide well received websites for Girlguiding South West, including the entertaining Rustle, Bustle & Squeak resource and the main regional website.
There have been many more highs and projects of which I’m proud over the last 15 years and I look forward to sharing them with you soon.
